With the uniquely designed jaws of the KingFisher grasper, surgeons are able to perform multiple tasks during arthroscopic surgery with one instrument. The KingFisher grasper/retriever is the optimal tool for arthroscopic tissue grasping/reduction, foreign body removal, and suture retrieval/management. The distal serrated tip of the jaws function as a tissue and suture grasper while the proximal section of the jaws facilitate slide-through suture retrieving.
The FiberTape® KingFisher instrument combines the suture-grasping ability of a KingFisher retriever and jaw curvature similar to a FiberTape retriever. Combining these features makes it easier to manipulate suture and tissue during arthroscopic procedures.
