Arthrex Donates Printers for Graduating Seniors in Take Stock for Children Program

As part of the Take Stock in Children program, Arthrex has provided 25 graduating seniors, who are heading off to college for the first time, with brand new HP Deskjet All-in-One printers.  This is the second year in a row that Arthrex has made this donation.

“These children normally would not have had the opportunity for advanced education if it weren’t for programs like Take Stock in Children,” said Nancy McLaughlin, Vice President of Global Information Systems at Arthrex.  “We are very proud to make a contribution that will help these students throughout their college career.”

Take Stock in Children is a statewide program that helps deserving children from low-income families achieve academic and personal success through scholarships and mentor support.  The Education Foundation of Collier County administers the programs for all Collier County middle and high schools, except Immokalee Middle and High School, and there are more than 130 active students in the program.
Although the graduating seniors have scholarships, they often don’t have the money for computers and/or printers.
